For those who think that the only style the Phil Rudd signature snare can cover is Rock, I am here to tell you otherwise. This is quite possibly the most versatile snare drum I have ever played. Not to mention, that it is the best sounding metal snare I have ever played. Arguably, one of the best sounding snares I have ever owned and I have owned quite a few. I have over 60 You Tube vids posted and I dare you to find a snare in any of the other videos that sounds better than this one!!

RUN....don't walk to get one of these snares. I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

Here it is in a Funk/R&B setting. Tuned high.

This snare is great for ANY style of music!! Phenomenal all purpose snare drum!!

Sticks: Vic Firth American Heritage (maple) 5A or American Classic (hickory) 5A

Heads: Remo clear Ambassadors on the tops of all the toms and bottoms of all toms except the 8" and 10" toms. Clear Diplomats on the bottoms of the 8" and 10" toms. Coated Ambassador on the snare with an ambassador medium snare side hazy on the bottom. Clear Powerstroke 3 on the kick drum.
