A fun enough level, although nothing remarkable. There's plenty of variety in the environments, it's not particularly difficult, and the main portion of the level is both compact and easy to get lost in. There are three keys to pick up and you can go after them in almost any order you like, it's a very non-linear layout. The biggest mistake the author made was to hide three imps in an extremely high watchpoint at the corner of the open arena. There's too much space there, making it easy for the imps to hide out of sight. And even when they're visible it's usually only a pixel or two. So I had to waste a few seconds with the chaingun, about a minute in.

Eventually you'll find your way to the teleporter on the ledge overlooking the arena. And at this point you'll discover where the level got its name from. Ray obviously had the idea of creating a room that, when you look at it in the automap, looks like a huge sword hanging vertically. That's what I'm teleported inside of at 3:32. It does look quite impressive, all heavy and deadly and medieval, and this run doesn't really show it off well because I'm too worried about speed to hang around showing it off. You can just catch a glimpse of it in the distance at 3:44, sorry about that.
