Operation Gladio: NATO's 1985 Brabant Massacres in Belgian Supermarkets
In Belgium, in 1984 a bizarre operation occurred around Vielsalm in the Ardennes region.
A squad of US Marines were parachuted into Belgium, and met by a member of the Belgian military intelligence.
They hid for a fortnight before attacking the police station of Vielsalm, in a so-called Oesling exercise, killing a Belgian officer. One marine was injured during the operation, losing an eye.
Initially the attack was passed off as terrorism, but was later proven to be the work of the American and Belgian military - as confirmed by the Senate investigations of 1991.
NATO’s Secret Armies. Operation GLADIO and the Strategy of Tension
Interview with Dr. Daniele Ganser

The Mind Renewed 4 January 2016
Our guest this week is Swiss historian Dr. Daniele Ganser, author of the seminal book NATO’s Secret Armies: Operation GLADIO and Terrorism in Western Europe, who joins us for a fascinating (though at times unsettling) conversation on the subject of Operation GLADIO.
Shortly after WWII a Europe-wide network of secret armies was organised under the aegis of NATO, tasked with providing military and intelligence resistance in the event of a feared Soviet invasion. Modelled on the resistance movements of the war years, many of these “stay behind” units remained faithful to their original mandate. But by the early 1960s – under the pressures of anti-communist politicking and flirtations with the Far Right – some of these groups began to morph into something more sinister, linking up with extreme right-wingers who carried out acts of false-flag terrorism, harassment of left-wing parties and coups d’état.
But was this morphing simply an unforseen consequence of the unaccountability and instability of the network itself? Or was it, at least in part, engineered by the very Anglo-American establishment which gave birth to the project in the first place? And to what extent, therefore, can such acts of terror be seen as manifestations of ‘the strategy of tension’, carried out by the State against its own citizens for the purposes of control at home and geopolitical gain abroad? (We also discuss: Operation Northwoods, the so-called War on Terror, 9/11 and the recent Charlie Hebdo attacks.)
Brussels; was the center of Gladio has been the target of terrorism

Not only is Brussels the capital of Belgium. Both NATO and the European Union center.
Would have to be much more heavily guarded.
Moreover, Salah Salam was arrested a prime suspect in the Paris attacks 4 days ago in Brussels. In response to the catch that is expected to be given.
So Brussels on alert against a terrorist attack.
So we thought.
Apparently, terrorist attack against Brussels wasn't ready.
Suddenly, they panicked.
Two explosions and an explosion at Maelbeek metro station at Zaventem Airport. 30 dead, 100 injured.
After the event in Brussels don't know how that was.
Public transport stopped. Museums and schools are closed. All institutions including the EU Parliament meetings were cancelled. Closed the border to France. People “stay where you are” were instructed to.
Was increased to the highest level of security. The University was evacuated. From the nuclear power plant were evacuated.
The restriction to the media................
They invented a cold war after the Second World War. They divided the world into two camps. The Warsaw Pact and NATO was established.
They moved to Brussels at NATO Headquarters.
A secret NATO Gladio organization was established. Was established as a parallel structure within the state. This exploitation through their own illegal organization continued.
Any Gladio terror they fed, trained, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, they made a nuisance of countries such as Greece.
Of each semester in the West who support terrorism, NATO became an order. Scratch the problems that terrorist organizations exist in the world they built.
Now they're all coming back.
Brussels; was the center of Gladio, has been the target of terrorism.
