Quick lesson from 8Bit himself on how to quickly make that wobble bass you hear these days (from the kids with their hotrods, knife-fights and doowop rat tails.) Basically you cut a sample down to a 10th of a second, loop it, insert a lowpass filter and automate it with an LFO modulation device. The rest is just making it thicker, harder and programming the wobble using the automation points. FYI, I find this method allows for greater originality then the use of VSTs, can be done on any software and does not require huge plug-ins.
