The Washington Monument is being inspected for damage from an earthquake that shook it last month. Climbers with mountain climbing equipment are repelling the face of the Monument looking for damage. The two men and two women hang from the monument and look like small bugs from the ground. They go from stone to stone tapping with hammers to get an idea of the stones density. They are expected to be hanging around for several more days if the weather cooperates.
