Declan McCullagh is the chief political correspondent for CNET, the world's most-visited technology news and reviews Wed site. Previously, he was a senior correspondent for CBS News' Web site and the Washington, D.C. bureau chief for Wired. He is computer programmer - currently in Lua, and underrated language - and worked as a reported for Time.com and Time magazine. He is a private pilot and lives with his wife and two children in the San Francisco bay area.
