If you think god exists, that's okay. But if you are a dick about it, it's not. If you don't believe in god, that's okay. But if you are a dick about it, it's not. Religion dose not make problems, it's when people are so stupid they think that what they believe in makes them superior. It shouldn't work that way, people should just get over the fact that someone has a different opinion. Everyone else is gonna disagree with this.

"Is not Pakistan or the Pakistani religion itself that is prosecuting Ramshi". The "angry mob" to happen to be MUSLIM. What is the Blasphemy Law based on? ISLAM Its not the child who is mentally ill and/or illiterate, but the ignorant mob. Muhammad is one of the most evil people in history. Why do people think Islam is fine when its founder was evil? Can people not think rationally anymore? I don't respect Hitler or anything who follows his ideology, I certainly don't respect Muhammad or anyone who follows his lies.

So, an angry mob forces a government to execute a child? I'm not normally one for violence but the Pakistani government should have just taken a gatling gun to these fuckers. By giving in to demands, they have shown weakness, and will be walked over again and again.

I believe the biggest problem facing the Muslim states in the mid east is outright poverty and lack of education. These  impaired areas of our world are only taught the books approved by religious leaders. Most cannot read, they have no schools and are taught verbally as the "purest way" by religious leaders who themselves are power hungry (you have to be). The average person has limited if any original thoughts (or allowed to have them) which are considered by some as blasphemous.  This is about the powerless poverty stricken- uneducated people taking their life's frustrations out while at the same time getting a feeling of power. Then and unfortunately, once the intelligent man becomes educated in the ways society allows, the bitterness immediately is directed at the infidels (non-Muslim). The power pushes forward, the anger continues..
