Knowing that this was formulated hours after her death makes me cry. She did such a good job and kept composure. I'm sure she admired Whitney.

That was great! And boy does she look beautiful here

I came to watch this tribute and was sad to see all the mean comments. This performance was at the Grammys the day after Whitney's death, it was a TRIBUTE that no one expected to be doing. Jennifer Hudson loved and admired Whitney and vise versa. To trash Jennifer's performance is disingenuous and down right mean and I believe Whitney would think so as well. If you are true Whitney Houston fans you should take this in the context and spirit that it was intended. Great job Jennifer and shame on all you haters.

Jennifer, in her tributes, never makes it about herself. This had to be so difficult for her.

What an amazing talent to perform this tribute literally hours after her idol had died. This was flawless. I don't know how she was able to pull this off. Jennifer, you rock!!!!
The world could use more Jennifer Hudson.

Just a thought, but for you naysayers. It's hard to sing when you're trying not to cry
I remember this day so well. My dad wouldn't let me stay Up watching the rest of the awards cause I was in like 6th grade so I snuck out of my room and listened from the stairs

No one can match Whitney's voice but if anyone else is to sing any of Whitney Houston's songs it's someone like Jennifer Hudson.
