Gurgaon, the Attraction
New Gurgaon is indeed hub of builders and property dealers. Most of the buildings are fitted with shiny glasses, which makes them attractive. In the recent times it has become almost impossible to cross the roads for which the government has provided with overhead bridges. METRO railways has given Gurgaon a new look and has successfully soughted out the problem of many daily travellers. Auto rickshaws are cheap way of moving to many locations for just Rupees five only. Beggars and stray animals are still a problem to the localites, but changes I believe come slowly and steadily. The malls have come up with a new experience to shop and enjoy under one roof. Majority of Gurgaonites could easily be seen in the business of property. Real estate of Gurgaon indeed has transformed the lives of many people residing here. Needless to say we have got the best restaurants in the entire NCR and no one can beat the flavours delivered here. Gurgaon has its own Medical City with state of the art medical facilities. As a Gurgaonite, we must appreciate the commendable work done by the local MLA Mr. Sukhbir Kataria. It would not be incorrect to say that a normal Gurgaonite pays the most of Toll Tax and parking fees at various places. A daily commuter has many choices to select from rickshaws, auto rickshaws, buses, AC buses, Metro and so on. The standard of living of a Gurgaonite would undoubtedly superior to those living in other cities of the country excluding the metros. Once a person moves out to see Gurgaon, he can't stop saying 'WOW!' to the state of art architecture in the city. In Gurgaon a person can also find the best world schools and international schools. A person gets majority of options to shop from, roadside stands, main market, malls. Gurgaon is a HOT city, in both the contexts. Also we receive very less rainfall as it is a rain shadow area. As an Industrial town, you can easily locate almost all the best companies out here. Also its nearness to the New Delhi airport attracts almost all the investors to invest in Gurgaon. Gurgaon is also known for manufacturing of Maruti cars, Honda and Hero Honda bikes. We have two stadiums in Gurgaon, one in the city and the other one near Rajiv Chowk. There are a number of amusement parks too for you to enjoy. Undoubtedly, Gurgaon is a tourist place but the government has failed to promote it as one. Initiatives must be taken by the both the state government and the central government to promote Gurgaon as a tourist place. In terms of real estate, Gurgaon has left New Delhi behind. It is a dream for many people to live in Gurgaon but due to high prices of property they are not able to get a house. Others like me are just lucky to have a house over here. The word 'Gurgaon' originates from two sanksrit words, 'Guru' and 'Gram' meaning 'Village of the Guru'. It is historical city in the sense that it was ashram of Guru Dronacharya (epic Mahabharat). As a Gurgaonite, I have given you just a small glimpse of my city. Gurugaon is much more than that. I would be portraying the city from another angle in my next video, and that is the angle for which I love my city.
