Oh how God seems to target my heart. He chooses the place, the time and who is there. My husband and his wonderful mother paid for a package at the spa. I have not been well and the winter months are causing all sorts of havoc in my body. It is without words that Louis and mom convey compassion on those hard days.Their compassion and willingness to be there for me have become such an enhancement to my wellness. A Lemongrass Salt Scrub that helps to boost your metabolism. Following was a full body massage. It was during my facial that God targeted my heart. God put the technician heavy on my heart. It was as if God was pouring love into that room. His target was my heart and the heart of my technician Rebecca. I could not tell you how it all came about only that Rebecca and I talked and shared our hearts. Rebecca was holding back the tears trying to remain professional and I gave her permission to feel what she was feeling and to express it. The entire time I knew God wanted to convey something to her. As we talked I was given only a hint of what that was. I made her promise that she would listen and look for Him in her day to day. Rebecca allowed me to pray for her and she cried as I talked to God on behalf of her.

She had talked about her little girl so I knew that she was a young mommy. That night I went home and thanked God for what He was doing on behalf of this beautiful brown eyed mommy and her daughter. That night I had an intense dream about Rebecca. It is that dream that has influenced the making of this video. I was at Pier one in my dream and I heard a mother and daughter in the background. I was looking at the unique quilts and knitted blankets they have. When I looked up that woman was Rebecca and I could see that she was very upset. She was trying to hide it from her little girl. Talking in a sweet attentive tone but her face said something very different. Her face was reddened with emotion and her eyes filled with tears as she leaned over to respond to her daughter. I smiled and was not sure if she would know me and the look on her face said it all. It was as if she saw a long lost friend. I put my hand on her back and looked down at her daughter and said hey sweetheart how would you and your mommy like to go out to lunch with me? Yes! Yes! She said.

While Rebecca was getting her daughter into the car I was purchasing one of the quilts. It was beautiful with soft tones. While the woman was ringing it up I was writing in a gift card.

Rebecca and I sat in a corner of the restaurant and talked while her little one played in the play area. Rebecca cried and laughed. I looked over at her daughter as she was bouncing her way over to us. I leaned down to her and asked her who her hero was? Without hesitation she pointed at her mommy n smiled. I asked her why n her answer did not just come in words. Her arms stretched out as far apart as they could as she exclaimed because I love her! I looked up at Rebecca n she held back the tears n smiled. In slow motion the smile was forced as if to say I do not deserve the words she is saying. I bent down to the beautiful blonde hair creature who was the walking definition of love n acceptance n I said I want to tell you a secret. Suddenly she is the quietest she had been all day. Her big eyes looking up at me waiting. I told her you are going to be a hero for others some day! You are going to be really important to this world. Your life is really really important to God. He can hear your heart! He can hear your mommy's heart! He knows when it speeds up n He knows when it is calm. He watches over you n protects you even though you do not see Him. I looked up at Rebecca and pulled out the comforter I had just bought. I smiled and told her this was for her n that God wanted her safe, warm n covered. She opened n read the tag. "He mends where the stitches came apart." Rebecca started to cry uncontrollably. Her little one nestled beside her with a smile on her face n put a corner of the blanket over her little body. It was as if Rebecca's daughter knew what was happening more than mommy did. I have no words to convey the expression on this beautiful little girls face accept to say she was at peace, safe n snuggly warm next to her mommy. Then I woke up .... I wanted to remember Rebecca, this dream n that sweet little girl so I recreated it in this video the only way I knew how. Since then Rebecca found me on Facebook n has added me as her friend. So as I was making this video I was blessed to be able to use pictures of Rebecca and her daughter when she was a baby.

A note to Rebecca: God has a plan for you n that little girl. She has a call on her beautiful little life. See that you tend to the needs of your own heart. See to it that you take care of you because what you do for you ... you do for her. You are her hero n don't worry sweetheart. Inside the gift card were the words, " He mends where the stitches came apart!" Psalm 139 song by Stigma Eternity
