Former Republican Congressman Bob Inglis of South Carolina was on @11thHour with Brian Williams on @MSNBC. He lost his primary after serving 12 yrs in the most conservative patch of the state of South Carolina because he accepted "Climate Science".

His reassessment came when, as he says, "his teenage children made him look at the facts and would support their Dad "only if you get your act straight on climate".

I interviewed Bob Inglis, as a Show Contributor to Climate Talk Radio. It was amazing. Bob traveled to the Antarctic, the globe, and learned the undeniable facts; humans are drastically affecting the Climate, and that we, as Americans, humans, need to act. But quite interesting is his perspective of the politics of the debate. He hasn't changed his Party, but he wants his Party to change it's stripes on the facts on climate change. The opportunities for his Party to step forward on what Bob calls "the best idea he ever heard in his 12 years of Congress", he describes as "Border-Adjustable Carbon Tax and Dividends for taxpayers" is truly a leadership view. (I think we need to encourage him to run for Senator in South Carolina). Bob Inglis started RepublicEN.org which is self-described as "Climate Realists and Energy Optimists". Bob Inglis changed me. I saw "my issue - climate" through his eyes as a loyal GOP Member. What's awesome is we saw the same facts, and then could talk about where do we go from here now?".
