For many Kenyans small scale farming is not a viable venture, with most people opting to search for the elusive white collar jobs. However veteran broadcaster Fred Machoka is leading the way in proving that indeed producing food crops in a small farm in the arid Kajiado area is the way to go. Franklin Macharia visited his farm and he tells us how smale scale farmers are pulling their weight in improving food security.
