On January 30th, 2013, I received a touching e-mail from a dear friend Karen Parisa Sami, who had a request that I simply couldn't turn down. She told me about a friend that was unemployed with 5 young children, who after many long years, walked away from an emotionally, psychologically and physically abusive relationship.

Then, in the Fall of 2012 she met a kinder, responsible and loving man who she decided to marry this Valentine's Day (February 14th, 2013)! She had rented the party room in her apartment building in Virginia and wanted to host a simple and small wedding with her family and close friends but was struggling to afford the most essential services such as a DJ, catering, and even a ring!

Without any hesitation, I knew that we could help by donating services like DJ, lighting, videography and I personally would have been honored to MC, but I wanted to see if there was anything else we could do.

Just like any bride, she had a long "wish list", and so on February 1st, I decided to reach out to my personal Facebook friends, as well as my colleagues in the wedding industry to see if anyone else would like to assist in any shape or form.

Within literally hours, I was in awe of the outpour in donations of cash, gifts and services to help this lovely couple with a wedding of their dreams.

Once I saw the overwhelming generosity, I knew we had to put a picture to their names, so people can really get to know them and the 5 amazing children. Amber then decided that she actually wanted to use this as an opportunity to be a voice for domestic violence victims and share her personal and empowering story. For this reason, and because of Amber's eagerness to help others that may have or are experiencing the same as she did, we have decided to turn this into a documentary.

In this video, Amber and her fiance Trey express their gratitude for everyone's donations, and Amber shares her emotional story. With their wedding taking place on February 14th, 2013, we will be documenting the days leading up to their big day, and sharing with all of you footage from the wedding itself!

Stay tuned and follow this story which started with unfortunate circumstances but has since turned into courage and now bliss, as the couple await their special day with their loved ones by their side!

Lastly, I would like to once again thank all of my dear friends, colleagues and my unbelievable EE team that is allowing us to provide the nearly-wed's all the services which are helping make their wedding dreams become a reality.

Kind regards,

Iman Huschmand
President
