Kirsty Gallacher: It was lilac and had a rainbow on it or something like a little rainbow sticker.

Gethin Jones: Really small front tyre, really big back tyre.

Jeff Brazier: It was bright blue,everything about it was blue in fact.

Sir Chris Hoy: And I remember just being absolutely blown away by this bike, It looked amazing and to a six year old kid, it was just the greatest bike I'd ever seen in my life.

Gethin Jones: You know when it's like a man and his dog, for my it was a boy and his bike.

Jeff Brazier: I just remember building a ridiculously big ramp.

Sir Chris Hoy: In reality it was jumping about that high off the ground but you felt like you were flying through the air.

Alexandra Burke: From a little girl, it's made me feel free, it's made me feel strong.

Kirsty Gallacher: It's a lovely way to see some scenery and get some fresh air.

Jeff Brazier: When you get on your bike you are instantly are transported back into your childhood memories because riding your bike for the first time was the most exciting things that you've ever done as a kid.

Gethin Jones: That was the nice thing about it you would be able to go a bit further with your friends and really feel that independence. We really felt like we grew up as children and we could go a long way on a bike.

Sir Chris Hoy: You can get so much out of your bike and I've ridden bikes all my life and I've had an incredible experience with it all.

Jeff Brazier: If I didn't ride my bike then I couldn't experience what it felt it like having a 'spoking dopey's' going round your wheel at 10 miles an hour.

Alexandra Burke: Sky Ride is all about inspiring the nation to fall in love with their bikes all over again.

Gethin Jones: Sky Ride city events take place around Britain.

Kirsty Gallacher: Sky Ride local rides are smaller, weekly group bike rides that take place across the country every Sunday.

Alexandra Burke: More men ride bikes than women but we need to change that.
