Running a cycling team isn't cheap. You've probably seen from all our features that each team has an incredible number of vehicles and lots of highly specialised equipment. Not to mention top riders like Alberto Contador and Chris Froome, and the highly sought-after staff who support them.

In this video, we run through how and why the teams allocate their budget, and we think some of the expenses might surprise you.
