Al Lee, a U.S. Army veteran who was awarded a Purple Heart for serious injuries he received while fighting in Iraq gave his military honor to U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' office so it can be presented to the wounded congresswoman.
Al Lee of Sierra Vista was awarded the Purple Heart after being injured in Faluja, Iraq, in September 2003. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and other wounds in the blast of an improvised explosive device.
