LOS ANGELES, CA – In honor of International Women’s Day (March 8th), Ali Williams created a collaborative project that breaks the “bad role model” of Disney Princesses by showing what would happen if they were living today and had the opportunity to pursue their dreams.

Featuring the work of photographers Jim Donnelly and Ruy “Geekstrong” Arena in a series of nine images including Ariel the Archaeologist, Tiana the Food Scientist, and Rapunzel the Teacher.

“The true spirit of a princess has little to do with her glittering gowns and fairy godmother,” said Williams, “the power of the princess is in her kindness, bravery, and sense of adventure.”

After all, you don't need a crown to change the world.
