A group of engineers, physical therapists, physicians and basic scientists at the UNT Health Science Center are teaming up to gain a better understanding of normal human movement and how it is impacted by age, injury and disease. By using video motion capture, virtual reality environments, custom instrumentation and computational modeling, they are investigating rehabilitation strategies to help various patients perform more tasks with less restriction or pain.
