I would assume that it is similar to the setup my friend has on his 07 Mustang. He has 6000k HIDs with tinted housings and he can actually see decently well, but it would still be better without

@pinkstewie how do you think my headlights would do with 6000k HIDs and the gts headlight covers? do u think they would still be good at night?
CmonMan
Does it effect it if you turn your brights on?

talking about the silverado headlight swap? iv seen the light bulb type for our cars on ebay ima get em and try them out eventually. but yeah i want the clear ones, think itll look good kinda corvette c6 like.

Oh I'm sure those ones would be fine. I have heard a few people say that after they become older if you take them off a decent amount they will eventually just fly off while you are driving though haha. They really add to the cars line though. I did do a nice mod to my headlight mounting brackets to fit truck headlights from the same gen on my car. I now have halos and HIDs :)

even the clear ones? the are the ones im looking at..
pinkstewie
They are not. The covers look good, but they are a real pain if you plan on driving at night

is that GTO logo removable? hope so..ruins it IMO.
pinkstewie
@z28killsvtec wow i never got any notifications about you posting this, but its pretty easy. You just have to pull up from the corners and try not to flex it too much because the double sided tape they used on mine started to come off if it flexed too much
pinkstewie
@TrifeThaDon I got them on ebay
