Name/Alias of Producer: Allister M. Campbell/"A Emcee Muzik."

Track Name: ♪♫ DayDreamin' About Us♫♪

This is my ReWork of the "Nightmare" theme from the anime Code Geass.

I really dont know where to start...I spent A L O T of time on this. Maybe too much time (because of the video and complications with the track).

Code Geass is one of my favorite anime of all time, and when I found out the title of the theme that I remembered got me hyped in the action scenes was Nightmare...the sample was picked in that instant (I had to pick the sample for this round).

I had made 3 versions of this track...first was mostly ALL just cut sample with my added bassline, and sounded next to nothing like the final one. 2nd version is almost just like what your hearing now...but was just my piano playing (and drums pattern sequence...and some of the sample of course) there was no bassline or such. So I had to modify it abit to make it more Hip Hop less piano jazz standard. Chopped n Screwed it abit. The result was good enough for me. Came out as Jazzy Hip Hop, but im cool with that.

In terms of the concept of this ReWork...if your watching the video...its pretty self explanitory. The anime was somewhat darker (dispite the colorful artwork and such) so I wanted to make a light hearted flip on it. A track that makes you think about the good times. And with me having an understanding of the characters, Lelouch X C.C. made the most sense IMO (though it did not quite turn out like that).

Overall, this was fun to make (both music and video), especially since I like the source material so much, I had to do it justice. Sorry if the intro to the video seems like overkill but i just couldnt resist. I hope you all enjoy this piece!

I also would like to send a shoutout to all of my fellow producers that voted (and did not vote) for me last round. Everyone did a great job, and to be reconized by peers is a good feeling. Thank you all.
