Virginia O'Brien sings the lighthearted but dark ditty "Say That We're Sweethearts Again" from 1944's "Meet The People," (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0037062) starring a young (and gorgeous) Lucille Ball.

The song was later used in an episode of "Batman the Animated Series," as sung by Harley Quinn, the Joker's oft-abused moll. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vp6wLX... ) I didn't know it wasn't written for the Batman episode until someone pointed it out.

Both Batman (of DC Comics) and this movie are owned by Warner Brothers. The film is available on DVD via Amazon.
