This video is Part 4 of an original series chronicling the historic two day May 23 & 24, 2012 Egyptian Presidential Election. The election is so important because it is the first free Egyptian election held in about sixty years. This video shows voters lining up in Cairo to vote on May 23, 2012. The video was taken by Paul Hodge, www.genpolicy.com, while Paul is on his May/June 2012 Iron Man Solo Around the World Challenge. "The people of Cairo who I talked with are very excited about and thankful for the election. To date, as far as I can determine, the Egyptian military has ensured that the voting has been orderly and peaceful. I want to thank the voters for giving me an opportunity to film at different voting locations throughout Cairo."
