The unit consists of a Waltop tablet digitizer (licensor to Trust, Aiptek, and many others) and DisplayLink USB monitor. Those are decent components sandwiched together in a compact, portable housing. Getting the latest version of those two manufacturer's drivers can prove difficult, but for the patient among us, possibly worth it from my experience thus far.

The tablet's comparable to the 12" Cintiq. I've owned an Intuos 3 9"x12" tablet and currently have a 20" Cintiq 20WSX in addition to the Yuyinova display.

Panda City (a US distributor) has been helpful on the technical side (Thanks, Andrew!). I'm still troubleshooting the display a bit in Mac OSX Lion when used as a second display, but if used as the only display in OSX, it operates as in the above video.

There's supposed to be a calibration menu in the default drivers, but, for whatever reason, it doesn't show on my MacPro in Lion.

If I can get it working properly as a second monitor in OSX, I'd give it a pretty solid recommendation. It's impractical to use this small display as an only monitor, however, especially given the number of people using laptops and iMacs with in-built displays on the Mac side of things.
