Forget pigs in blankets – these are elephants in blankets! These endearing pictures of orphaned elephants wrapped up in colourful blankets will melt your heart.

The bright blankets covering the cute baby elephants have become symbolic of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, at their elephant sanctuary in Nairobi, Kenya.

The comforting, multi-coloured blankets help to keep the adorable abandoned ellies warm and snug at the sanctuary.

The sweet snaps were taken at the sanctuary by photographer Antony Kimani.
