I have seen allot of people with this problem where the lcd screen on there sony nex-5 or sony nex-3 starts to look like bubbles are forming and since I had to fix mine I figured I would post the process in a video to help anyone overcome the fear of trying as it cost $220 dollars for sony to fix it. The lcd glass was around 7 dollars off ebay
I had it in my head this was going to be tough but it actually was easier than I expected, the thick screen protection layer peeled right off and it was real easy to line up the glass. Now the camera looks brand new again, other than the different wording now on the bottom of the glass.
My warranty was out and I had no insurance on the camera so I was in a pickle to pay sony or do it myself. If I paid sony I would have had to ship the camera off for a undetermined amount of time and pay 220 but fixing it myself took a few minutes and cost $7.00 Video was shot with a sony bloggie touch
