Betty and her family go to a Lexington Legends baseball game in Lexington, Kentucky. The Lexington legends were playing the Asheville Tourists.

My husband (Rick), daughter (Chelsea), son-in-law (Chris), and grandson (Carter) accompanied me. This night was EKU alumni night at the ballpark, and our tickets included a catered dinner. We enjoyed coleslaw, Cajun-rubbed chicken filet, barbecued ribs, potato salad, corn on the cob, beer cheese and crackers, with a dessert of Derby Pie and canned sodas for drinks. Ice cream treats were also available. We really enjoyed our dinner, and I chose barbecued ribs to make for a YouTube video. I included those in our 4th of July meal; they can be found in Betty's Kitchen as Bourbon Barbecued Baby Back Ribs. I have made all of the other items from the menu, except for the Cajun-rubbed chicken filet, which I may do later.

I hope you enjoy our night out at the ballpark!
