Stripe Makes Big Move To Become The Major Buy Button Supplier

Stripe, which is one of leading payment processing startup companies, introduced Relay recently and by reading the eCom Empire review you can gain further insights. It is an API which provides merchants and marketers with the ability to place buttons on third-party sites and any of the social networks. This bold move has Stripe aiming to become the industry's main buy button supplier. Many brands and merchants all over the world are already starting to appreciate this move.

The new feature was unveiled by the startup last September. The main goal is to assist merchants with displaying their products and goods across various third-party apps through incorporating buy buttons on the platforms to make purchasing a smoother process. What is interesting about this is that in the recent past various social networks such as Facebook, Google, Pinterest and Twitter have launched similar measures in order to capitalize on this profitable segment of the e-commerce marketplace- a market that is currently struggling due to its clunky mobile tools.

With over 60% of shopping site traffic coming exclusively from mobile devices, but just 15% of purchases, Stripe aims to capitalize on the trend by opening new opportunities up for merchants by making it easier for mobile device users to purchase products and goods via buy buttons directly from their phones and by using eCom Empire bonus packages as well. This is definitely a huge opportunity for retailers and merchants. However, the thought of having to deal with various platforms and partners still makes is a very daunting process.

Stripe, with its new Relay feature, is aiming to deliver an effective one-stop shop. The API will make it possible for merchants to load in their product catalogs and have them served to the whole online world. Stripe CEO Patrick Collison says that Relay will assist merchants with selling their products via multiple marketplaces through the use of one integration. Therefore, retailers won't need to worry any longer about having to work with so many different channels and apps for integrating their products and goods into the marketplace.

Strip, with its recent move, is looking to emerge as the middleman between merchants and third-party apps and platforms and capitalize on the the eCom Empire popularity. How well the API performs will depend on how many social platforms can be brought in. Stripe worked with Facebook very closely for a few months in order to test the buy button to see how well it worked. It was also thought that Stripe had worked with Pinterest. However Recode states that the API isn't being used by Pinterest.

Since Relay was launched, an increasing number of ecommerce and social sites have decided to incorporate it into their networks. This makes it easy for merchants to have buy buttons on these networks in order to sell their products and goods. Twitter recently is another one of the major networks that has decided to become partners with Stripe.

Currently, an increasing number of retail brands and merchants are coming on board and choosing to use the API in order to directly sell their products from their social network pages. More companies and brands are also embracing the new API at the very same time. Whether Relay works out or not, only time will tell. However, it does appear that things are heating up for Stripe, with its new API continue to gain an excellent reputation among online marketers.
