Ever wondered how Betelgeuse, the massive red giant in Orion, would look like from a nearby planet?

This artificial desert planet is two times further out than Neptune, yet Betelgeuse appears like a big fireball in the sky. Having a diameter of about 1000 suns, this red supergiant would swallow all the inner planets of our solar system.
