Original vs Remake: Nightmare At 20,000 Feet

Nightmare At 20,000 Feet was an episode for Rod Serlings Twilight Zone, made in 1963 by director Richard Donner. It was based on a short story by Richard Matheson. Twenty years later, in 1983, the episode was remade for a segment in Twilight Zone: The Movie, directed by George Miller. The story tells of a man who travels by plane and suddenly sees a gremlin on the wing of the plane. In the original the main role was played by William Shatner. In the remake, the lead was played by John Lithgow.
