About the speaker: MD, Christopher C. Benz is Professor and Program Director for research on Aging at the Buck Institute, Adjunct Professor of Medicine for the Division of Hematology-Oncology, UCSF, co-founded Hermes Biosciences in 1998 to develop moleculary targeted nanocarrier systems for therapeutic and other oncologic applications, served as Vice president for clinical affairs, in 2000 relocated his academic laboratory and became a faculty member of the newly opened Buck Institute for Age research in Novato CA to explore the link between breast cancer and aging.
