During a flight test campaign in 2011, 25 flights were conducted with a DG1000S. Spin entry, complete spin up to 4 turns and spin exit were tested and analyzed. The altitude loss was around 150m per turn. Interesting to notice the oscillations in angle of attack and sideslip. The exit took always 1/2 turn or less, thanks to the powerful rudder of the DG1000. The airplane resulted being very safe in spinning.
