In 2017, the SHRM Foundation is focusing on two core initiatives - The Aging Workforce, and Engaging and Integrating Military Veterans into the Workforce. To kick-off this multi-year veteran initiative, the SHRM Foundation hosted their first summit facilitating discussions among 61 employers, researchers, funders and nonprofit leaders focused on employing, engaging and retaining veterans in the workforce.
