Newly discovered 8mm film from on board the USS Kearny Submarine, during its ill-fated trip in World War Two. This is very rare footage never seen before!
... Actually, this was filmed on-board the Russian Attack Submarine, "Scorpion" B-427, which now floats at dock alongside The Queen Mary as a museum in Long Beach, California. The actual USS Kearny is a Gleaves-class destroyer which was sold for scrap in 1972.
