President Barack Obama has called on lawmakers to take action on immigration reform to deal with the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States. His comments came as the governor of (the western State of) Arizona signed into law a controversial measure to require local police to ask people about their immigration status if they have suspicions the persons could be in the US illegally. VOA's Chris Simkins has more.
