Autumn morning at Freiland station, one of the last Austrian stations with semaphore signals, visited by the daily 2143 double headed lumber freight and a class 2070. The seasonal biker train was also formed of a 2143 and Schlieren coaches, up to recently a normal ÖBB local, nowadays already quite rare. More involuntary class 2143 action as we planned to chase a special hauled by steamer 919.138 of Polish origin. However, the steam loco didn't even make it to the first lineside spot and was replaced by a 2143. We still chased the train because it went on the line from Sopron into Burgenland to Markt St. Martin usually only used for public draisine rides - the line speed limits are set accordingly.
