Today, we're making bistek kebobs. Pair this with our pickled mango relish (atsarang mangga) for the perfect summer meal.

1 1/2 lbs of sirloin or flank steak cut into 1/4 inch cubes
1/2 cup of coconut amino or soy sauce
1/4 cup of Kalamansi juice or lemon juice (or lemon and lime half and half)
6 cloves of garlic peeled and smashed
----- combine all ingredients into a large ziplock bag or bow and marinate for at least 8-12 hours. The longer you go the better it tastes.
1/2 large red onion or 1 small one cut into 1/4 inch pieces
2 avocados cut into 1/4 inch pieces (don't get the overly ripe ones, you want it to be firm)
1 bell pepper any color cut into 1/4 inch pieces
8-10 pieces of cremini mushrooms cut into 1/4 inch pieces
12-15 skewers soaked in water for at least 45 mins.
------assemble into a skewer how ever you like with the beef. Grill or broil for 5-10 depending on the doneness that you prefer. Be sure to turn halfway.
