Video Script: Configure BlackBerry® Messenger for the RIM® BlackBerry® Curve™ 9300
Welcome to AT&T "How To" videos. Today we will be showing you how to Configure BlackBerry® Messenger for the RIM® BlackBerry® Curve™ 9300. Before we begin, please verify that the wireless data network is attached and you have a RIM® BlackBerry® data rate plan on your account. Now press the Menu key and then scroll to and select the Applications icon (to select, press the trackpad in). Here scroll to and select the BlackBerry® Messenger icon. The Term and Conditions will be displayed. Scroll to and select I Accept, to agree to the licensing agreement and continue setup. NOTE: Select I Do Not Accept, to cancel setup. Here you will be prompted to enter the desired username and then select OK. The "Add a Contact" screen will be displayed. Scroll to and select the desired option:
Select Contact NOTE: A contact must be present in the Address book. Scroll to and select the desired contact. New Contact Enter the desired contact information in the corresponding fields. Press the Menu key and then select Save. The contact list will be displayed.
