Filmed in South Africa, a kind customer sent us this video that took us by surprise. Only so many things can go wrong on such a long straight bit of road.

But this demonstrates clearly how the RoadHawk DC-1 camera works. Upon impact the shock sensors put the camera in to EVENT mode. The customer then emailed this event to us here back at RoadHawk UK as a .MP4 file.

Just after the impact you can hear the DC-1 camera chime signalling an EVENT and at that point 10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the event is stored on the SD card for later viewing.

The RoadHawk DC-1 black box camera comes with a 4gb SD memory card capable of storing over 200 of these events as well as the last 3 hours of normal driving. Upgrade the SD card and this can be increased to 20+ hours of driving and 1000's of events.
