President Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy land at the Dallas Love Field Airport on November 22, 1963 at 11:38 AM CST- this was about 52 minutes before he was shot. He was shot at 12:30 PM CST on November 22, 1963. In this clip he is greeted at the airport by Lyndon Johnson and Lady Bird Johnson, Mayor Earle Cabell and his Wife Dearie and others. Governor Connally and his wife Nellie Connally are with the President when they disembark from the airplane. Later the President enters the modified 1961 Presidential Limousine which takes him into Downtown Dallas for an eleven mile drive through the streets of Dallas on the way to the Trade Mart for a luncheon. The Trademart is located at the Harry Hines exit off Stemmons Freeway. The Presidential Limousine leaves Love Field at 11:50 AM CST, so in just 40 minutes President Kennedy was shot in Dealey Plaza in Downtown Dallas. He later dies at Parkland Hospital in Dallas at 1 PM CST. At about 2:18 PM CST the President's casket is carried onto Air Force One at Love Field. LBJ is sworn in at 2:38 PM CST. Air Force One takes off from Love Field in Dallas at 2:47 PM CST , landing at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland at 6:05 PM EST (5:05 PM CST Dallas,Texas.).
