Making these red and white Christmas cookies is pretty time consuming. It takes me about 45 minutes just to decorate one! Even though it’s very tedious, this design is one of my favorites.
For this project you will need:
Roll out cookie dough (my Orange Vanilla Spice recipe is available in my tutorial shop) Christmas tree cookie cutter (this one measures about 4-1/2″ from top to bottom) Flood consistency royal icing Decorating tips 3 and 1 Scribe tool
Colors: Americolor tulip red + burgundy + a touch of black
The most common misconception about this design is that it’s done with a stencil. While I’m sure that would make my life much easier, it’s actually done freehand. Watch the video below to see how it’s done.
