Yo! For you people expecting (hoping to see?) carnage and mayhem, you won't find it here. These guineas and their best friend -- our big old farm dog -- love each other. The title was a joke about how they "attack" the dog. I never expected anyone to find these videos; I made it to send to my daughter who's off at college. She understands what the title is all about. So if you were expecting hoping for some kind of actual attack, please move along; nothing to see here.
I have taught my dog to understand that our guineas and chickens are part of "my pack" and she is not allowed to harm them. In fact, they are all free range and if it weren't for our wonderful dog none of the chickens or guineas would still be around due to the raccoons, foxes, and coyotes that abound around here. Guineas love to eat bugs... and they love to groom. They also love their doggy friend and follow her around wherever she goes. Sometimes they try to groom the dog or eat the bugs they see on her! Now and then, they go a little to far.... Heh! Our dog is 1/2 border collie and 1/2 black Labrador. She's as smart as she is loyal and we love her and so do her birds!
