Despite improvements Youtube's copyright resolution system still weighs against users when their educational videos are met with hostility from copyright holders who refuse to acknowledge the Fair Use provisions of copyright law. I've dealt with this problem several times by taking the issue up outside of Youtube, directly contacting the copyright holders. This video explains how I dealt with some awkward disputes.
