Peter Lind Hayes and Mary Healy (a married performing couple popular on the radio at the time) performing the cut romantic duet "You Opened My Eyes" from "The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T". From the great three CD issue of the reconstructed score by Frederick Hollander (with lyrics mostly by Dr. Seuss) which includes most of the cut material and demos to boot. In this case the song is co-credited to Hollander and Nelson Riddle, with lyrics by Jack Brooks. This recording was meticulously cleaned (from what is already somewhat cleaned on that issue) by Tormented Artist Ink Studios (me, John Ellis). Nearly all the key songs were cut in the final print of the film, which ran way over budget and was radically edited for release. "Opened" might well have been a hit in the early 50s and become a standard, written with Bing Crosby in mind (Dr. T was intended for Danny K). You can imagine him singing it pretty easily.
