Animal Planet's hit TV reality show "Whale Wars" gets the Joe Bev treatment when radio's The Comedy-O-Rama Hour premieres a new episode, airing Saturday, August 11, as part of "The Joe Bev 3-Hour Block" starting at 1 pm - listen online at

The creation of husband and wife team Joe Bevilacqua (Joe Bev) and Lorie Kellogg, The Comedy-O-Rama Hour has evolved since its successful run on Sirius XM Radio, into a wacky mix of family friendly humor, radio theater, audio cartoons and improvisation.

On today's show, the Camp Waterlogg gang are visited by Ross Moss (played by Joe Bev) the uncle of one of the camp kids Peter Moss (played by Kenny Savoy). Meanwhile, Ellis (Joe Bev) and Elise (Lorie Kellogg) confront narcoleptic Captain Ezekiel Zero (Jim Folly) and his parrot (Kenny Savoy) in the continuing saga of the "Beluga Battles," Joe Bev's "Whale Wars" parody.

The hour will also feature the world premiere of "Sherlock Snail Finds a Home) a new Uncle Dunkle radio cartoons written and voiced entirely by Joe Bev based on the characters of his mentor Daws Butler (Yogi Bear), and two radio cartoons written by Pedro Pablo Sacristan: "The Incredible Black Rain" (voiced by Lorie Kellogg) and "Dark Wizard, Spark Wizard" (voiced by Joe Bev.)

Joe Bev says of his cast:

"Lorie Kellogg is not only a great voice artist who can play woman, man, girls, boys, frogs, trees, chairs, or anything... she also comes up with half the funny plots we improvise!"

"Jim Folly is the funniest man alive! Jim has been a member of our troupe Liquid Comedy since we formed it in 1979. Jim is Don Rickles, Chico Marx and Allen Jenkins all rolled into one!"

"Kenny Savoy can do voices and read a script as well as any actor I know, but what makes Kenny special is is bright open upbeat personality. He lifts the energy of everyone he meets. Kenny is also a great improviser."

Joe Bevilacqua is a veteran radio theater producer and voice actor. He also works on stage and is the winner of the 2012 New York TANYS Award for Excellence in Acting. He has performed at the Improv, Caroline's on Broadway, Catch a Rising Star, the Comic Strip, opened for Uncle Floyd, worked with Al Franken, Shelley Berman, Louis Black and Rick Overton. Joe has also MC'd shows featuring Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Mahr and Gilbert Gottfried. He has been regularly heard on National Public Radio and Sirius-XM Radio and has produced hundreds of hours of audiobooks.

Lorie Kellogg started her education at the Kansas City Art Institute. There she studied painting, printmaking, photography, commercial design and video. She continued to Graduate School at the California Institute of the Arts where she received her MFA in Film/Video. Lorie is a graphic designer creating websites, logos, newsletters, newspaper & magazine layout, package design, ad design, and edits video & audio.
