Kraft Foods has released a gay-pride-themed Oreo Cookie advertisement via Facebook. The advertisement created for Gay Pride month created a lot of controversy on the Internet.

The controversial ad made quite an impression on the Internet, garnering more than 40,000 comments and 170,000 shares within a few days. Reactions ranged from complete support to disgust - like most of these things go.

Kraft Foods is not the first company to target to the gay market; JCPenny, Gap and Ben & Jerry's ice cream can be added to that list. As people debate whether or not homosexuality is an acceptable lifestyle, the brands are raking in the dough.

Although advertising companies make it seem like they are making a statement, it is clear that this is just an advertising way to get your money.
