SOT: Amena Saleem, Palestine Solidarity Campaign protest organiser (in English): "Until Hamas fired rockets last week after one of their commanders was killed, they hadn't fired any rockets at Israel since it signed a ceasefire in November 2012. So Hamas has shown it can abide by ceasefires. Israel shows that it breaks them all the time, doesn't abide by the terms it agrees to."

Up to 100,000 people in London protested in solidarity for Palestine, Saturday, beginning at Downing Street and marching to the city's Israeli embassy.
The 'Stop the bombing' march was organised by Stop the War Coalition, Palestine Solidarity Campaign, CND, Friends of Al Aqsa, British Muslim Initiative, War on Want, Islamic Forum of Europe and the Palestinian Forum in Britain.
Following Israel's ground invasion over the last 12 days, up to 300 Palestinians have been killed, with 77 per cent of them civilians and a quarter of them children. More than 2000 homes have also been destroyed from airstrikes and rockets fired by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
