That three "professionals" based their expectations on the singer's looks & style (and age) says all we need to know about popular music in the 21st Century.  No wonder radio today sucks balls.

Pat, You're the idiot, with delusions.

To give you a very basic idea of how absolutely evil the people are who are creating your TV “Programming” (and I use the term as a synonym of “brainwashing”) here is an example: THE SUSAN BOYLE CASE I could literally write a book describing all of the emotional and cognitive manipulation techniques that were used in the above video. Your manipulation began with shot selection and lighting. If you want to make someone appear ugly and old – you light their face from above so the shadows are cast downwards. LONG STORY SHORT You are taken on an emotional odyssey where the ugly duckling emerges as a beautiful swan. How did they do it? AUTOTUNE They used Autotune which is a software tool that allows an engineer to select the target key of the song, and then allows Auto-Tune to correct the pitch of the audio waveform to conform closer to the scale of the key provided. You can adjust how closely perfect you wish the notes to be — and going far past what’s capable with the human voice gives you a dramatic effect. This can all be done in REAL TIME. In fact – it is ROUTINELY used in live performances. This means that literally ANYONE can be made to sound PERFECT. YOU WERE PLAYED Susan Boyle is a fraud. At least in terms of being a “talented singer”. Susan Boyle was cast in a role as an actress playing an ugly spinster who “made it big”. HOW DOES IT FEEL TO HAVE BEEN DUPED? How does it feel to have been taken for an idiot? You fell for it - right? LOL TARGET AUDIENCE The target audience for this fraud was primarily older women who are ugly. BANK Susan Boyle made at least 6 millions dollars from her involvement with this fakery. === Now, this is just an example of emotional manipulation using tools available to TV producers. And they used them here in conjunction with a TV show. Do you really think they have these awesome tools and they aren’t using them in a wider context? If you don’t get it – you really are an idiot.

Susan Boyle has Asperger's, which is a type of Autism that affects her social communicative abilities that may make her out to be awkward. However, they are known to be high-functioning in one or two specific areas. Here, in the beginning, she is judged by everyone with disgust on their faces because they see that on the outside. But they don't know how much courage it took her to even stand on that stage as someone with Asperger's. And her talent is just jaw-dropping.

As an aspie, I'd just like to make a small correction. Asperger's is not a form of autism. So there are a bunch of disorders, called Autism Spectrum Disorders, under which come bunch of disorders such as autism, Rett Syndrome, Asperger's, etc. So, being an aspie, she is on the spectrum but is not autistic. I know, it's confusing. Have a nice day! :)

What about the girl who rolled her eyes at Susan Boyle.  She has been seen by millions of people.  Wonder how she feels now.

+Hans Wurst Hans, a bit of research into Perceptual Psychology, Deception and Counterdeception goes a long way towards enabling the understanding of how our traditional enemy is using media as a tool of mass mind control.  The Susan Boyle thing played on the emotions of the Target Audience to elicit a premeditated response.  The "show" she appeared on was  "show" - not a real-life event.  It was theater.  Unfortunately, many of the responses here show that a certain number of people cannot distinguish theater from reality.  Our traditional enemy leverages this fact.

Susan has a beautiful voice, but an even more beautiful soul.  I haven't seen this video in awhile, but it came to mind tonight when I needed a little inspiration.

Dear Susan, I want to tell you that even after 5 years since you won Britains Got Talent, I still cry like a baby when I hear you sing. I am so grateful to you that you had the courage to get on stage or everyone in the world would be missing your fantastic voice. Thank you for showing me that no matter what people may think of me, I am someone. Will you think about releasing the song "The Old Rugged Cross"?  Love, Your #1 Fan, Mary Bandy USA

+Missendora Linsey Sterling didn't win her show either ( in fact, her performance in the second round was rather embarrassing), but look at what she's gone on to accomplish.
MKillBill
+Missendora She didn't win BGT for several reasons.  #1 Her finals performance of I Dreamed a Dream, while very good, was not as good as her audition. #2 Diversity had a different routine every time they came up on stage. They were more creative and, well, diverse.

she is so sweet and friendly but you can tell she doesn't care what people think when they see her   what I mean by that is she taught everyone the lesson of not judging by the way  the person looks    I am sure she noticed that many kind of doubted her because of her look and ae and she didn't really care she just showed us how good she looks    I actually like the way she looks because she is dressed like a rather ordinary person

Hard to believe she didn't win, she got robbed.
