The featured guest of the 1997 Northwest Folklife Festival in Seattle, Pete Seeger joined the formative group of local musicians who became the Seattle Labor Chorus for a tribute to labor on Sunday, May 25, at the Mural Amphitheatre at Seattle Center. The long outdoor set included, as shown here, a version of Jester Hairston's "Amen," which Seeger adapted to "Freedom" and then "Union." Video by Clay Eals, http://www.clayeals.com.
