Light, fast and packing some useful power, the RZR 105 makes a great choice for improving intermediates through advanced level players. Intermediates will find easier access to depth and spin thanks to the longer length and lively yet grippy open 16x19 string pattern. Advanced players looking to dominate the court with power and spin will also find a useful accomplice here. From the baseline full swings result in a fast and heavy ball. Our testers found plenty of spin to help keep shots on target even when swinging aggressively. The feel is very crisp and clean, which is what we have come to expect from the RZR series. At net our TW testers found lots of pop and impressive stability. The firm response had volleys zinging away with a little punch swing, while the crispness helped testers feel dialed in on touch shots. On serve is where the RZR 105 perhaps impresses the most. With its extra quarter-inch of length and powerful frame design, this racquet helps get some useful pace and spin on serves. All in all, this is a solid choice for 4.0 and above level players seeking a powerful and spin-friendly racquet.
