"...Rick Perry, who is still Governor of the State of Texas for reasons that modern science cannot explain, would still like to be Commander in Chief of something, even if it's not the United States. In a teleconference with wingnut pastor Rick Scarborough, Perry called on "Christian warriors" to engage in "spiritual warfare" against that most Satanic of foes, the Constitution of the United States. Of course, Perry claims to like the Constitution a whole bunch; he thinks the real enemy is a "growing tide of secularism and atheism" that has spread the false notion that the establishment clause of that document somehow mandates "separation of church and state." Clear enough?...".* Cenk Uygur, comedian Jimmy Dore, and Michael Shure (host of TwenTYTwelve) discuss on The Young Turks.

Perry is as dumb as Palin. Unfortunately, Perry has a stronger work ethic than Palin, therefore, he can be more dangerous.

Imagine how much more humanity could have advanced, if the Roman Catholic Church was not there to stifle progress throughout Europe.
If you go against separation of church and state, you do not understand the original purpose of America. If you don't understand the purpose of America, you should get the fuck out of America.
And you have no way of knowing that this isn't the afterlife from a previous shorter life and the one after this one is identical except you live exactly 10% longer

1. I don't care what Deuteronomy says. You have to demonstrate that I should care first. 2. No, your personal experience does not demonstrate that. Guess what people from other religions often use as their "evidence" for their gods? If you answered "personal experience," have a cookie. So, why should I accept your personal experience when there are countless others who's personal experience contradicts yours?
Leo Buzalsky
Double standards? Yep. Theists tend to have instruction manuals (a.k.a. holy books). Atheists don't. There's your "double standard."
